What a hidden treasure, a MUST to visit, if you like geothermal areas! The best!

I had seen a lot of thermal area in Hawaii, in Iceland, in China, in Yellowstone... and all over New Zealand, but I would say this was right on the top !! A privately owned place but its a beauty. Its a bit off the regular track, kind of hard to find but when you arrived, you would not regret! It was like a paradise out of the world. The welcome center was a nice cute ope, airy, modern building. Theres a gift shop and cafe. You could sit, enjoy a coffee and view the lake and the surrounding formation. What a retreat!

You need to ride on this open glass covered ferry boat across the lake to visit the thermal area. Even though the ride was short, I really enjoyed it on a warm sunny day with blue sky and glittering water. Also there was no set schedule for the ferry, it just shuttled people back and forth. There was not a crowd either at this place and everything was at a slower pace. The path was well marked with signs and even benches for you to rest and enjoy the spectacular nature. This is an artist paradise with so many different colors palette and the colors were so intense and fascinating. No-one can mix those colors except our creator. This place is so beautiful, I spent hours and hours, enjoying, breathing in every bit of beauty and taking tons of photographs. May be after this review, this place will attract more visitors, enjoy before it got ruined.
