Great Place and also for Overnight Stay in Campervan

Came to Orakei Korako on recommendation and was not disappointed. Had researched and found that if you were visiting the venue then you could stay overnight for free. The visit involved a boat over to the thermal plateau from the visitor centre. They estimate the circuit takes an hour but, if you do it that pace, you don't do it justice. The view across the lake from our campervan was wonderful. We dined watching the steam vents. As it grew darker and cooler the venting increased. Bargain overnight stop for the admission price. We visited other thermal places on our last visit and this beat them all.
