Extraordinary Natural Thermal Area

Orakei Korako gave us the most amazing experience the other day. Such friendly hosts who took us by boat on a wonderful journey across the beautiful Waikato river and onto the thermal park. The variety of thermal activity is quite amazing. All the colours of the silica, mudpools, bubbling hot springs, and geysers make it such a unique experience. The park is well maintained making it easily accessible to all. Being able to walk so close to nature's vents is something you must do when in this area. Thoroughly recommended.
