This unique geothermal cave extends more than 35m down to a hot pool at the bottom named 'Waiwhakaata' (Pool of Mirrors).
Statehighway one will be closed from 16/09/2024 and finishing 04/10/2024 but Guests will have access through the site to Orakei Korako just talk to traffic control and they will allow you through.
