Fantastic Site + Super Friendly Staff and not Fake Tourist Show

So glad we discovered this wonderful place .. not wanting to see all that fake Maori extravaganza they put on in Rotorua just thermal things.. The lovely ladies at the kiosk ( Dana & Krysta) were so genuinely friendly towards us .. showing us things that we would not have noticed and just going beyond the what one would have expected . my wife thought she had lost our van keys and they were most helpful. The sandwiches they made were extra full and very good value indeed ... as they put it made with love!! Richard the Ferryman is a patient gentleman and brilliant captain of his well built little vessel. The Geo thermal Park is a great place to freely wander around at ones own pace (slowly with lots of photos to be taken) well worth the short drive from Taupo or Rotorua. HIGHLY RECOMMEND . for interest and experience and friendly staff.
